I entered into an agreement with this company to have them provide appointments for myself and another agent in my office with people who had Annuities older than 7 years. Annuity-Appointments, Inc.(A.A.I.) agreed to set 1-3 appointments per day, 4x per week for 8-16 weeks until we reached 60 for a set of zip codes in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. They said they would replace any appointment that was a no show or any appointment that did not result in a presentation.

As soon as they got our money they did not return calls and were generally unresponsive and disorganized, but they eventually began sending over contact info for people they claimed had agreed to be seen. Not one of the people they sent over as an appointment consented to an appointment. I interviewed the people that Annuity Appointments Inc. claimed to have set appointments with and every single one said they had not agreed to an appointment, and additionally they complained about over aggresive telemarketers who were coercive and manipulative.

In addition many of the annuity owners that were called upon had not owned their annuities for more than 7 years. Also A.A.I. did not adhere to the zip codes we had agreed upon. After we began to complain that the appointments were bogus and they were outside of the areas we contracted for we suddenly were unable to speak to our smooth talking "Liz" who signed us up and our account was taken over by "Chontell" who was inept, rude and abusive.

When we complained we were insulted and hung up on. We were finally told on 10/21/2005 that a refund had been approved but it never happened and they have subsequently stopped answering our calls.

Stay away from Annuity Appointments, Inc. I have notified the BBB and the FBI as well as the California Attorney General. The AG sent me a letter stating they would not do anything at this time. We were new agents struggling to meet qualified potential clients; they stole our money and laughed in our face.
