Subscribed to BCBS health plan on 3/24/16

Contacted Customer Service on 3/28/16 - was informed that application would not be reviewed until 3/28/16

Required insurance on 4/1/16 - I asked if I cancelled the application that day would I still be charged for the insurance and was promised by Brenda on 3/28/16 that I would not be and provided a cancellation confirmation #

On 3/31/16 my account was drafted for $423.11 for insurance and I immediatly contacted them.  Was told it would take 14-16 days to obtain a refund.

Spent 3 hours on phone escalating the problem and was promised an ACH payment into my account on 3/31/16 by a representative named Erica and that she would provide follow up calls - 5:00 PM on 3/31/16 was told they needed more "information" from my bank, money would be in my bank on Friday, April 1, 2016; Erica promised to follow up with me that morning to ensure the transfer went through and again to make sure the money was in my account.

Called 4/1/16 took 40 minutes for them to get me to the resolution center and for them to find the correct information on my account and to locate the representative Erica.  I was told the ACH was approved and that the money would be in my account on Monday morning.  Again, she would call to ensure I received the money on the 4th of April.

Money was not in my account on Monday the 4th, call early that morning - spend another 1.5 hours on the phone to obtain any information I could find regarding the ACH payment.  Was told it was for sure sent and that my bank had received the transfer - they stated it show up instantly; Erica again promised to follow up; called again Monday after noon on the 4th to follow up and was tolk by Twanya the same thing that Erica told me that morning. 

Tuesday, April 5th - my bank still shows that the ACH is not in process.  They have put a fraud charge against these charges and provided the money back into my account.  This is just temporary - I still have no final resolution to them fraudulently charging my account.  In addition they have costed me $254 in a late fee for my rent.

The customer service reps are no responsive, do not follow through and do not respond - they do not provide contact phone numbers or transaction numbers to verify what they say.  If you subscribe, you are going to ge charged, so make sure you want the insurance prior to hitting the submit button because all you get after that is continuous lies from their customer service teams.
