Complaint Review: Anthony P. Vigna

Anthony P. Vigna…who is he? An Attorney, CPA, Professor? Maybe that is why he cannot complete anything?!  I have hired Anthony Vigna for tax purposes and as an attorney.  BIG MISTAKE!  I paid him $700 to do some tax work for me and he never did the work.  A year later I was looking for a foreclosure attorney and he came recommended.  I was hesitant because I had already hired him to perform a service that ne never performed.  I went against my gut and hired him anyway because I was hearing all of these wonderful things about how he was working for a big Auditing company called CFLA. Certified Forensic Loan Auditors, located in Los Angeles, California.  Mr. Vigna is their guest speaker and he was getting  East Coast work from them because he was so educated in the process of securitization. Mr. Vigna was very proud of himself and he kept boasting on how much the Judge in Westchester County Court loved  him . Attorney Vigna claimed to have the whole defense under his belt.  Attorney Vigna told me that CFLA told him that nobody knew as much as he and that is why CFLA was giving him so much work, which I find that really funny because, he has yet to help one homeowner.  Not one single success, not even a modification…NOTHING!!! After calling him about 6 times and not getting a call back I left a not- so –nice- message.  I received a call the following day, Mr.Vigna acted as if he had no idea who I was, I was furious!!!  I hire you twice for two different services and you don’t know who I am????  I am the person who wrote 2 checks out to you, MORON!!! His abrupt, harsh tone on the phone was just the beginning of an hour conversation that turned into Attorney Vigna bad mouthing mutual friends and revealing names of clients that he is doing work for.  He was boasting about how he turned one of his clients into the District Attorney’s office…  I’m sorry, but isn’t there some Attorney-Client privilege being broken there?? That is when I realize that this is the most Unprofessional man I have ever attempted to do business with.  I am saying attempted because he never actually did anything for me. He had the nerve to tell me that I need to finish the tax work myself AND THEN he didn’t show up to my court date.  There I am standing in court ALONE making up excuses for my No-Show Attorney. I asked for my money back and not only do I not get my money but I still have never gotten another return phone call. Basically he stole $2700 from me.  I have now moved on to another attorney and things are now going as smooth as can be. As far as Attorneys go…….Maybe he should just stick to Taxes and Teaching!?! If I could say one thing to Anthony P. Vigna it would be…”DON’T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB”
