Anthony's Affordable Auto Glass ripoff, Vulgar, Dishonest, False Advertising Richmond Virginia
I am in need of a windshield, so I was calling around looking for the best price. Amongst other places, I called Affordable Auto Glass. A man answered (he would not give me his name) and asked what my lowest quote was. I told him and he responded in saying that he couldn't do it for that. Before I could mention his ad in the Yellow pages, he hung up on me. The ad clearly states that they will beat anyone's price with a $100 guarantee. It also states that one can save up to $250 off one's deductible. Because at that point in time, I simply thought there had been a disconnection other then him hanging up on me, I called back to ask about their ad. Again, I am merely looking for the best rate.
He answered in a very rude tone when I spoke of the ad, and told me he was not going to help me. He then told me to go f*** myself and to suck his d***. I asked him how he could run a business like that. He then said f*** you and hung up on me, again. I am upset mainly at the vulgar way he spoke to me, but also with the clear false advertising. I apologize for having to type the language, but I felt it was necessary to say exactly what was said and what happened so that one could see the seriousness of his actions.
NEVER do business with this company. Due to the fact that they use false advertising in their ad and according the Better Business Bureau, have changed their company's name and telephone number, it makes me wonder if they have even been in business for over 20 years as their ad claims.

I only wish that I had read this report sooner.I lament that this guy even knows whereI live. I had no idea he had such a track record whenI hired him.I don't know about the ad portion but the attitude mentioned is pretty much what I experienced as well.As for this lady justhaving a bad experience their are no good reviews for this company anywhere thatI have found. This guy needs to be off the street, total scumbag.

I am the new owner of this company. Our company is run by myself and my husband. We are known in the glass biz as "the Husband & Wife team". I'm the wife part. This lady had a terrible experience. I don't know the situation, but no one should be treated with disrespect. We are very customer friendly. In fact, I enjoy chatting with our customers while installing their windshield. That's right, I help install the glass. Please do not let this one complaint deter you from using us. I feel we take time to insure our customers are happy unlike some of the large shops that care more about the numbers then the customers. We give a fair price and give you a good job. Thanks.
