Complaint Review: anthony's painting

on march 12 2013 anthony gentile made a false report to the management at the home depot in perris ca that i made a deal with him to purchase 1200 dollars of paint for 200 dollars under the table.   i was fired within 3 hours,   i had 5 years in this company and i lost a job i really loved only so anthony could keep himself out of jail for stealing the paint when i was away from my desk to help another customer .  he made up a story that his brother was coming in to pay for paint and i had no reason not to believe him since this had happened several times before.  i wasn't even given the benefit of doubt to try to explain that i had nothing to do with this.   he solely acted on his own with his two accomplesses.   the home depot even allowed him to come back 6 days later to pay for what he stole and has had to answer to no legal issues either.   this guy is bad news news and if anyone has any opportunity to do business with him, run like hell because if he doesn't screw you he will rip you off when he gets into your house.
