Anthony's Pool and Spa Center Came to do the job they were hired for and had to use our leaf blower because they forgot theirs. The blower was dropped from the roof. They immediately said they could not finish the job for that pri Ocala, Florida
We hired Anthony's Pool and Spa Center for the second year in a row to clean our gutters and pressure wash our home/pool enclosure. Over the phone the gentleman said he would do it for the same price as the previous year since it was the same job. I gave him another opportunity to give an estimate so I could gain estimates from other companies if the need arose. He inisisted on doing it for the same price.
Upon arrival at our home the employee from Anthony's let me know that he would need to use our ladder, blower and a rake. He had a small pressure washer.
I went inside the house and I heard him on the roof with the blower. I then heard a loud thump and looked out to make sure he had not fell off the roof. The blower noise had stopped and I was afraid he had fallen. I then heard him walking on the roof and he came down the ladder. In several moments after, he knocked on my door and told me he could not do this job at the price he had offered. He said he did not have the right power washer either. He and his associate were packing up. I told them to just put my things back in the garage and leave. I then proceeded to tell him what I thought of his company. I didn't even think to look at the blower. I told him I should have trusted my instincts and NOT used his company. We purchased a pool pump from them last year for over $400. After we got home we received a phone call and the Anthony's employee asked us to please come down and pay an additional $38 because he had under charged us. He said his boss would kill him if he did not collect the additional funds. That should have been our red flag. We will not be doing any business with Anthony's Pool and Spa Center. Meanwhile, we have had to purchase another blower. We found the blower cracked and will not work.
