I purchased a Roger Maris autograph from Antiquities International at the Forum in Caesar's Palace in 1994 with the intent

that autographs appreciate in value over time.

I gifted the autograph to my son at the time. This past year, he decided to sell the autograph. We took it to a noted autograph authenticator, only to find that the picture in the framed piece was authentic, but the signed contract was not authentic(also in the framed piece).

I notified Antiquities International, and they had their attorney contact me.

Much like the review posted May 25th, 2015 by Joseph from Plainfield, Illinois, I was told that my authenticator was not recognized by Antiquities International, and they had their own authenticators. Same story they gave Joseph.

The attorney later contacted me, and made an offer that was unacceptable.

I believe it reflects poorly on the Caesar's Palace company to allow tenants that have this failure to stand behind their guaranty.

My experience was verbatim what Joseph experienced. That tells me there are probably many more patrons that have been similarly treated. When someone relies on the integrity of a guaranty, and the company fails to honor that guaranty, their actions should be exposed, and a legal course of action should be available.
