Complaint Review: ANYTHING ANYWHERE Moving Company

Anything Anywhere moving company is NOTHING then a RIPOFF!!

They were suppose to move me from Orange County, CA to Harlingen, TX on Dec 28th 2004. hey did not show up until the 29th without calling me! As I got to TX on the 29th I called them on Jan 3rd just to see where the driver was. They said they could not locate the driver.

The same story continued untill the 11th of Jan 2005. I got tried of hearing the same answer (driver is not reachable) so I came back to California. On the 21 of Jan 2005 the "OWNER" called me and said my things are in California and if I want them I have to pay him $2600.00.
Our written agreement is for $1100.58 and I have that in writing. How and where did the rest of this balance come from you ask? well! He says his "Flat Rate" changed to $2600.00 because my stuff weighed over 2000LB. Our agreement was NEVER based on the weight! It was as it says on the paper "Flat Rate"..!! I spoke with the owner Mr. Garcia and he told me the agreement I have is NOT VAILD!! He denied his own agreement!!

Plus, he NEVER moved me to TX but he wants to collect $2600.00 from me!!!??? He said: "the driver came to TX and brought my stuff back to Californis"..Why? I have NO IDEA why they would do such a thing! However, my feeling is THEY NEVER MOVED ME and yet they want 2x more money for a job NEVER DONE!!!
