Anything with a plug recycling anythingwithaplug.com Anything with a plug States they do not ship overseas but they do Raleigh North Carolina
I was googling this company and came across another ripoff report and thought it was a cool idea. I have dealt with this company on many occasions, just for convenience purposes. They allow people to dump electronics, TV's and Monitors on their loading dock. Most of the time I drive by and throw my stuff onto their docks on the way home. Well one thing that struck me as odd was a giant dumpster that was filled with metal. I found out that this goes to a company called Raleigh Metal Recycling. So I stopped giving away my stuff for free and started selling it on Saturdays. Now, one day I went up there on a Monday morning and saw a large overseas container pulling up to their yard. I asked the manager there what was going to be shipped out. He responded 'copper bearing items'. I spoke with the owner afterwards and he told me to look them up on google to read about their mile stone of making it to the Triangles "fast 50". I was told by the owner of Raleigh Metals that they export almost everything. When I read the "fast 50" article, it stated that Raleigh Metals was one of the largest exporters to China and had even started shipping to Korea. Come to find out the ewaste that is purchased and collected at Raleigh Metals recycling is also sold to a local processor right in Raleigh NC, which also ships back to his home country of China. I made a visit to the company in Raleigh off of Jones Sausage RD and spoke to the owner about selling my circuit boards and found out that he ships it all back to China, and that loads come in from all over the state to him from various scrap yards. All of this information was found out very easily just by speaking to a scale manager at Raleigh Metals, the GM and the owner of Raleigh Metals PLUS I found out the buyer of Raleigh Metals circuit boards from a gentlemen standing in line. He had told me that I could get a better price just by going down the road to the "China-man".
