I cancelled my acct. Sept. of 2002 or so I thought, in November 2002 they charged me another month's fee on my charge card. After calling I was told that my 14 year old had signed up, and was put on my charge card, of course without my knowledge. 2003 rolls around and I find another charge on my card again. After calling aol yet again, they give my a cancelation number. But still nothing has been charged back to my card.

I too had a billing issue with AOL. I called the corp. office's because I was getting no where with the idoits on the customer service line. Call 703-265-1000 and ask to speak to a company leason (forgive the spelling). Be calm, and expain your problem. Not only do they have record of every call by your screen name THEY HAVE A RECORD OF EVERY CALL FROM YOUR PHONE NUMBER. I know this for a fact, that when I had my problem, I called and spoke with 13 people, and only 6 had even looked at my account. However, the others that spoke with me ( and hung up on me, were recorded and caught. The rep I spoke with had my problem corrected with in hours. not days.

Good luck, and I feel your pain
