I thought that when I signed up with AOL that it was going to be an easy solution to the internet... and being able to get online and surf the net but... guess not!! I have had TOO many bank overdrafts it's not funny with these guys! I have had AOL for 6 years now and the problems didn't start until I moved. Once I moved..
I contacted my bank and AOL... both in the same day and changed my billing information.... apparently the person that entered my new address and billing method with them over the phone screwed up REALLY bad!!

I have had the AOL for 6 months now at my new home and still... they have the old address. Just recently they canceled my acount without sending me the standard "cancelation notice" that you're supposed to get 7-10 days prior. I had talked to 3 supervisors in less than an hour... 2 engineers... and various other technicians and no one could understand where the problem was happening.

Assuming it was the banks fault that the electronic debits didn't go through... I got myself into a screaming match with the bank manager and in return... they called AOL for me and explained that the problem was on AOL's end... which they didn't like to hear.

It seems that the moron that took my new billing info typed in a 23 digit account number that should have only been 9 but, I still had to pay the overdraft fees and the ISF fees and what not which I didn't think was fair at all!

Now according to AOL.. I owe over $200 for THEIR mistakes... perhaps if they updated the info properly and had billing consultants that actually knew what they were doing none of this would have happened.

Instead... they have a bunch of teenagers who don't know their a*s from a hole in the ground working for them. As for the people getting fired because they were signing people up or taking false orders... GOOD FOR THEM!! They deserve it for ripping off everyone!!

AOL I don't think understands the value of "the customer is always right" in billing matters... and I think the supervisors that watch over the billing consultants should have a meeting with their supervisors and so on and so on.... perhaps this might help them better understand "good customer service"

DON'T USE AOL!! RIPOFF / CON-ARTISTS OF THE CENTURY!!

I HOPE NO ONE HAS TO GO THROUGH WHAT I HAVE!!!
