AOL charged my bank account for erroneous charges. Two years ago my daughter signed up for AOL. Our computer was not working properly, so she reentered the input again. We ended up with two separate AOL accounts and over 24 months of duplicate monthly fees for the internet service. Well over $500 of errneous. About three months ago I found the problem while reconciling our bank account. I called AOL and they were very appologetic, however they said they could only refund the last six monthss of duplicate billings which they did. At that time I cancelled the remaining AOL internet service.

I thought that would end it, however, they continued to bill account for an additional two months. I called them back and they said they would correct the mistake and refund the overcharge. This has not occurred. What can I do to help some other people to not have to go through the hassel that we have for this type of rip-off?
