AOL IS A BIG RIP-OFF

In last year 2001, I was ripped off by AOL also. They were taking money out of my checkings account for a service I didn't order. My internet service was free because it came free with my computer for 1-year. When I first noticed they were debiting my checkings account and contacted them, they stated that they wasn't debiting my account and that I needed to send them proof from my bank.

When I did send them proof, at that point they begin to make another debit.

Finally, they stated they canceled the service for which they were debiting my checkings account.

So, since I hadn't been writing any checks or had any authorized electronic charges made, I didn't keep any money in my checkings account.

But then the following weeks, they continued (AOL) to debit my account for $4.95 and $5.00 on serveral occassions in which I was charged by my bank a $20.00 insuffient fee each time for each of the charges they tried to debit. I contacted AOL again on several occassions, I also spoke to several managers/supervisors in which they weren't very helpful and one of them was very rude. They finally gave me a fax number to send my request for refund/complaint to. Stated they didn't have a phone number for me to reach anyone at. So I sent the information to the fax number given about 6 times and never recieved any type opf response. So, I contacted my local better business bureau and filed a complaint with them. They sent copies of all my documentation to AOL regarding my claim, and AOL never responded.

AOL is a "BIG RIP OFF"... I don't care if they offered me free service for a year, I wouldn't accept it... All I want is the $115.00 they owe me!
