A year ago I agreed to try AOL Netmarket service (discounts on many types of purchases) free for 30 days. I cancelled and they charged my credit card anyway and I had to be alert to my credit card billing, and call to have it cancelled.

Then this year in April, I was charged again $69.99. If I did not monitor my credit card closely, I would have probably paid it. They referred to last year's billing, but also said I authorized it in January this year. The only discussion I had in January was with AOL parent company. I think I was offered AOL Netmarket, not sure. But if I did, I'm sure I refused after last year's problems with billing.

It seems that the telemarketers are over agressive. Even after angrily getting confirmation to remove the $69.99 from my current credit card, the telemarketer (Judy Ragin) kept trying to sell me other plans!!!

Further, AOL Netmarket says that they are not AOL, yet they use the Credit Card information that I provided to AOL for internet provider service for AOL Netmarket.
