Complaint Review: AOL Netmarket

I too am the victim of the great aol netmarket, and aol credit alert scheme. It began when I had the aol service. Now after 2 yrs. of finally getting rid of the aol service, I am still haunted with the aol netmarket and aol credit alert. Both of which I had for a year.

Before the year was up I called and cancelled them both, but sure enough aol credit alert took out the $79.99 for the yearly fee. I called them and I guess I raised enough hell they said they were going to reimburse the amount within 10 days.

Sure enough within 2 days the money was back in my bank account, that was a surprise.

Now aol netmarket has done the same thing. I called them and told them i had cancelled this 2 months ago, why are they taking $89.99 out of my bank account?

Well she said it would be refunded within 10 days, can I be lucky enough to have this happen? I feel there is no such thing as calling within the year to cancel these services.

I would advise everyone to stay away from these Companies.

I am glad I found this site to see that I am not the only person having these problems.
