I have not been with AOL for serveral months. I am a mediacally retired Police Officer because of being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis resulting in my being on limited income. The loss off $79.99 with the medical bills I am faced with makes things difficult as well as stress created certainly does not help the MS exasperation I am currently enduring and am on a steroid burst for.

AOL Netmarket $79.99 bogus membership fee

#2Author of original report

I was able to contact AOL Netmarket by phone. The lady explained the $79.99 was a membership fee I had agreed to for 'special shopping features.' I don't remember making any such agreement, ever. I made sure I was removed from any list so I was not in the future charged for any of their, 'special features.' She, "claims" I have been. And then she tried to talk me into some other plan. I told he I never ever, ever, want anything to do with AOL ever again. I feel totally ripped off and helpless on this and they have ripped off many others I am sure.
