Today while checking my Bank account I noticed a charge for AOL on Line.

This was the first I had heard about AOL sence I ask them to cancell my account in August of 2001.

This auto withdrawl of funds put my Bank account in the negative direction.

I called AOL tonight to find out why I was being charged, as I thought I had cancelled my account in August.

There Response: When I called to cancell my AOL account they ofered me a free month, which I accepted and used. I had the understanding that after the free month that would be the end of it all. WRONG-- They said I never was cancelled, so they have been charging me $23.90 for September, November, December of 2001 and January of 2002.
Even though I have not used this AOL they said 7000 hours was charged against the account, the account was never cancelled and they will not refund the money they charged to my account,
( $95.60)

I have been using other ISP providers sence I quit using AOL and had even taken AOL of of my desktop and put it in the Waste basket. I explained this to the telephone supervisor but they did not seem to understand.
