AOL ripoff liars HARASSING fraudulent billing, they don't like hearing the truth Jacksonville Florida
AOL created an additional account for me when I did not authorize it - they made it appear that when I created a second identity, I agreed to the creation of the additional account, which of course they kept the money for.
I cancelled the account, kept the person's name and confirmation number. Amazingly, they have no record of the cancellation and kept billing my credit card; I contacted my credit card company and they charged the erroneous amounts back to AOL. Since then, AOL has been after me to pay the bill. It is FIVE MONTHS later and they are harassing me, some weeks with a phone call EVERY DAY.
Now they have turned it over to a collection agency and they still will not listen to reason - I have the information, dates of people I spoke with, none of it matters to them.
It is clear that they are out to fleece people, and wear them down to the point they will pay erroneous charges just to get them to leave you alone. I had a survey company(supposedly) call me regarding aol. I told them plainly, I would not have AOL if THEY paid me!!! Please, think twice before getting involved - it is clear they are plain thieves. Once you start it could become a nightmare for you.
