Complaint Review: AOL Time Warner

AOL ripoff SCAM

I have been paying monthly service charges for AOL that I cancelled a year ago! This was brought to my attention when I checked my monthly bank statement. Something I will do every single month from now on.

The oversight went unnoticed because when I cancelled in October of 2000 I was under the impression that my wishes to leave AOL would be handled in a professional manner. I have not used their Internet service since cancelling, and AOL has acknowledged that I have not logged ANY time online with them, but I was still charged, AFTER THEY SAID MY ACCOUNT WOULD BE CLOSED!

Is there some recourse here, some place I can find justice for this criminal action on AOL's part? I have gone through the hoops they've thrown at me, faxing them my complaint at a number given to me by one of their representives. Is there a class action group anywhere where I can join the roster of other disgruntled and disillusioned victims by this scamming, unethical company?
