Have you ever tried those stupid free disks everywhere of "try AOL free! 45 days". Well, DON'T install them. Don't even PICK up one. Once you want to cancell it, they won't. Once they have your credit card, you're lost. The only option is to CANCEL your credit card and ask the bank or financial institution for a replacement with a different number.

If you fax cancell request, they will invent that you missed something (they will say " you forgot to put a period after AOL word, so we didn't know it was for us" or some other stupid argument). If you call by phone, they will make you spend hours trying to convince you of not cancelling, if you HAPPEN to get a "cancellation confirmation number"; it's another lie. They'll be calling you days later announcing you were granted "an extended trial period" and, after that, they'll start charging again. If you call them again to confirm your account is cancelled, they'll claim it is (after 20 minutes on hold before some human answers; so be patient, and after that human spends the whole day trying to re-convince you). So, no option. Only solution is CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD. Or, more over, DON'T EVEN GET ENROLLED WITH THESE GUYS.

Why they don't offer a serious real valid internet service? competitive and of quality?
