AOS Logistics Inc  Glenview,IL

DOT# 3087126,  MC#69839

Business  has a Glenview,IL address, but is operated out of Highland Park Tire and Auto Service. 260 Skokie Valley Rd. Highland Park, IL 60035.  Trucks are parked there. It is an extremely tight place to get a big rig into, and I have 25 years experience.

Requires a blind side backing off a very busy city street. Unless it was night time, I let the owner back the truck in. I would stand there and listen to a chorus of car horns and pissed off drivers because it took forever to get it in a parking spot. Tore up some grass. Owner is too cheap to rent a decent parking spot made for trucks.

I was brought in to drive a 2015 Kenworth T680 and van trailer. The only problem that was mentioned to me was a check engine warning light.  As I was to find out very quickly, the truck had a lot more problems.  The automatic transmission clutch was a mess. Extremely jumpy in reverse.  Had to ride the brake backing up to avoid slamming into docks.  Lucky for me I've had experience with these kinds of trucks.

6 seperate chips in the windshield.  A left front body panel damaged by a deer strike, and never properly repaired.

Truck rode and handled very poorly. Strong lean and pull right. Harsh ride. Owner was too cheap to have an allignment done or replace the shocks. I'm not sure the owner understood a truck needs an allignment occasionally and to have shocks replaced at reasonable intervals. Guess he will wait for them to rust off.

Owner claimed truck power was set at 485 horsepower. It was not remotely close to that. Based on my 25 years experience, I'm guessing it was maybe 375 - 400 hp. One of the most power restricted trucks I've ever driven. Some bigger hills I was dropping below 30 mph, and getting passed by fully loaded big fleet trucks. I tried every trick I knew to maintain speed up hills, but there just wasn't enough power. Dropping to that low speed is dangerous to me. Cars passing you at 2 - 3 times your speed is a recipe for disaster. It took forever to regain speed, even on flat ground.

It became obvious very quickly that this truck owner was pretty cheap when in came to maintaining his trucks properly.

With the owner lying to me about the truck, and all the problems I discovered, I worked 2 weeks and quit.

Now the owner Odisho Odisho is withholding my final pay. I warned the owner what I would do if he failed to pay me as we agreed when I started, and gave him an extended period to make it right. He is choosing not to. So I have filed this report, and I intend to do a lot more. Hopefully I can prevent him from cheating another driver.

This company has settled their debt to me. Owner says he understands the need to maintain his truck better. Seems to be learning some lessons. Good luck to him.

Photos of 3 page report I compiled on this company and its owners. See for yourself. These people are train wrecks in the trucking business.
