This company that goes by 'Connections' is very nonchalent when speaking to a representative in the customer service department. When calling the 800 number, I recieved a prompt for a membership number or a telephone number. I never recieved any membership, nor did I get one personally.

After not using any of those options, I got a prompt which directed me to a repesentative. A female by the name of Sarah, with an employee number (I believe) being 16863 answered the call. She asked for my first name, last name and zipcode. She said ok. Then a verification of a phone number. She did not find anything under the number I gave her.

So, I started to wonder. Then she asked for a another number, and I had no other number to give her. She asked for address verification in "Upper Marlboro," and I told her, thinking it would already be in the system. She said ok. She told me how this charge was applied to my account, which was through a product I had ordered over the telephone, not from Orbitz though. With that transaction I did on that product, a few extra things were mentioned to get you to buy, during that conversation. I declined them and I have never seen them nor used them.

So, upon my request for removing the charge from my credit card, and canceling the so called "membership" I had, she tried to get me to keep it and asked for reasons, and of course she tried to throw some extra kicks and rebates in there. Also, after my response for why I did not want the membership, she stayed persistent on trying to ask why I would not want to save money on the various items and movie tickets, etc. that the membership is supposedly meant for.

So, I told her plainly "I don't want the membership, and I have not used it, and I will never use it. I don't need it." So, supposedly the her agreement was made to credit my credit card account and depending on my billing cycle I should see the change within two business days. We'll see...
