We first noticed charges from Suremed on our account. My wife called and found that they had a recording of her agreeing to recieve some free information- we NEVER gave them our account number-someone must have sold it to them. We called and cancelled that- they said they got the recording from a telemarketer who gave it to multiple companies. We next cancelled Simple Escapes-located through SureMed. Then we had charges from AP9*Essentials. I found this site on the internet and saw AP9*Simplyyou- called that number- they had no record of me- I asked about Essentials- suprise, they said it was a different department and gave me the number. I called and cancelled that today. They also had a record for Simple Escapes - so I assume they are tied into this too. They said that they had no other record of me. We'll see what else turns up- this must be illeagal?

SureMed has never bought phone recordings, and has no association with any of the companies cited in this report

SureMed does not buy phone recordings from other companies. We have our on in house phone recordings of all calls between us and clients. We have no association with any companies called AP9*Essentials or Simple Escapes. (A quick google search of both companies finds that neither company is in the same industry as SureMed, which offers discounts on health services like dental/vision.) SureMed also does not ever send clients "free information". In addition, all charges from SureMed appear as "SureMed- Ideal Concepts", and include our phone number. I believe the client is mixing up a different company with ours.
