I discovered that my Visa account was being charged monthly by AP9*GalleriaUSA. When I called, the agents said I had verbally agreed to a one-month trial for some sort of discount shopping membership when I called in response to an infomercial (which is apparently how they got my credit card number). I do not recall agreeing to this trial membership and they could not even tell me the company I called regarding the infomercial. I never received anything in the mail describing the benefits of membership. I demanded they refund money; they refused.

After three nasty telephone calls by me, they finally agreed to credit my account for two months' membership fee of $18.95 each. Their argument: I could have called to cancel at any time but did not. My argument: I never agreed to the membership and never received confirmation of membership or materials concerning membership. This was a sham!
