Complaint Review: AP9*Privacy Protection & IK9 Privacy Protection

I had never had this charge of $24.99 previously on my statements. However, i've only had this credit card for 8 months, and assumed it was perhaps a VISA annual identity theft insurance charge of some sort.

Upon inquiring over the phone about it, the VISA operator assured me it had NOTHING TO DO WITH VISA, and to cut my credit card. I will not be held responsible for the charge pending an investigation performed by them.

After google'ing the name of the company, i came across their pitiful excuse for a website, and this website. Clearly these guys are not on the "up n' up".

Unlike the other report about these guys, i had had no interaction with their company, online or otherwise. This means they must be maliciously STEALING credit card numbers.
