I always carefully examine my credit card bill and pay it I saw a charge of 14.95. I noticed this charge and disputed it within days. As usual I was asked to call the vendor or service provided. When I called the toll free number which appeared on my credit card statement. For a month there was no option, until the charge appeared again on my credit card bill. This time, when I called, there among the options, they offered to close the account. When I chose this option, the automated system prompted for my phone number, which I provided. From this point they say that the customer has closed his account. These folks are real frauds. I had never signed up for this service. They are using the system to extort money and rip-off millions of people. I never bought anything from them and never signed up for their service.

With the help of my credit card company, I was able to get my money back.

During the conversation I was told that I had signed up for this service while I purchase some items from Digital River. I had never purchased anything from Digital River. I even called Digital River and the told me that I was not in their database.

Here is how I think they got my information. They first got my credit card number and name then researched my address and phone number and email address. I found that the information they had was from my domain name registeration. This looks like that they matched me up using the domain name registeration as the email address I had used there was the one I had used for the domain name registeration only. They did not have the email address which I usually use and which is used with the credit card. Please watch out for this ripoff and fraudulant activity.
