Complaint Review: Apartment Mover-Apartment Mvr

The Apartment Movers Houston, TX- Unprofessional: This moving company is a complete RIP OFF.

I request there service on June 26,2010 for June 27, 2010 move, this move was so bad i could not sleep for whole week. 3 men arrived on June 27,2010 at around 7:79am 2 of them fought between themselves because 1 did not want to work. They wasted alot time fighting over money back and forth i could not understand them since they were speaking another language. They did not want to speak to us they gave us a socall manger in Houston cell number so they didn't had deal with us plus we had communication issue. I request 26 plus FOOT moving truck what we receive was dirty rodeo blue ford pick truck with a red and white 24 foot dirty trailer attach to the ford pick up as it was at the recent "The Houston Livestock and Rodeo". Now we clearly told these d**n people or their socall representative that we will need a 26 plus foot or larger to mover our furniture because they were very large furniture and heavy with their strongest men. The apartment movers took advantage our situation since we were new to the town and plus we had to move that very day.

The men arrive with out did any furniture pads nor equipment to the move the furnitures safe and quick. These guys were between 3.5-4.5 feet tall and the furniture were about 7-12 feet tall very large and heavy, we had them in the garage just for quick move meaning there was no stairs to move back and forth. They had really problem lefting the furnitures even though they were already in the garage. We thought by having the furnitures already in the garage it would have help the crazy lunic people but instead they end destroying several our furnitures, mattresses, etc that we pay thousands of dollars for with their dirty trailer.

We were charge per the hour even though i only need 5 hours total to move and not one hour over, this we confirm with they order taker days inadvance, but because had plan to charge us per hour they moved like snails so they could get more money out of us. We told them that they are damaging our furniture and then they pretend they could not understand what we were saying to them, they begin to request more money or they will not finish the move so they held some of our furniture and lock the trailer with the inside. As of date they refuse to give us back our furniture because we refuse to pay that $90 extra for the hour that we never use, plus they damage our expensive furniture. We try calling back and forth with the apartment mover but they refuse to even listen to our problem.

We told them i will not sign any thing with that i receive the furniture in an acceptable and they were very piss off with us. These men (the movers) had promise they would make sure all our furniture move plus any boxes even if they had to come back for them meaning a double trip we had believe them and hope for the best but as you can read that didn't happen. What a complete disappointment by "The Apts Movers/ The Apartment Movers". We took pictures and double check to see what the left behind and what they still had on the dirty rodeo trailer we are missing our jewery box and very important items.

We contact their so-call corporate office instead of accepting their mistake and bad service that they provide to us, this President Rob Johnson if that his/her name kept asking for more money for an extra $90 and SCREAMED AT ME THEN HANG UP!!! even though we keep explaining to him that the men did not spent 5 hours they actually started to pack the dirty rodeo trailer about 10:15am after i gave the money order which had the same date on time on it. They claim they was told not pack/move any furniture until we gave them the money order which we did at around 10:15 am. As of date they still have our furniture, and our jewery box along with the fact that they damage our furnitures.

I don't believe that we must pay for horrible delivery service and customer service. We are not doing this because we want to we are doing this because we need to period. We will forward this letter to all major agency through the country including the state attorney until we get an answer even if we need go to the CNN or MSNBC because these company can not continue to treat or rip people off any longer this type of business must stop, this business is ETICAL.
