Complaint Review: Apex Lashes

I bought a lash serum from Apex Lashes and was charged $19.99 a month later. That is my entire budget for groceries this week and because of them I won’t be able to eat. I was on the phone for about an hour with their customer service representatives who were condescending and did little to help me. This has happened to tons of people and they offer half your money back but most people never see a dime even if they accept that. I want to get a full refund of that money because the way they get it may be legal but it’s disgusting and not legitimate. I am livid because nowhere do they advertise that you’ll be charged later on except for a tiny terms and conditions that is overshadowed by giant flashing banners. The only reason I was charged $19.99 was because the original $74 ($84 with shipping and handling) did not go through. It’s absolutely horrid that they lower the price that way because they know if $74 doesn’t go through, there’s probably insufficient funds, so if that happens then maybe $29.99 will go through, if not then maybe $19.99. They’re ripping people off and I won’t stand for it. I want my money back!! I want others to know what they’re doing because if you try and search for either company, they don’t show up anywhere except ads. What legitimate company doesn’t show up on BBB or other reporting agencies?
