APEX Merchant Group Credit Card Company Promised to Pay Off Previous Merchant Account; Did Not Follow Through Plano Texas

The agents promised that upon signing up with their company, they would take care of the cancellation fee and reimburse the $500 upon cancellation. They did not follow through, and a man named Orlando arrived at our business and spoke of an entirely different situation from what was stated over the phone and claimed that we would not received the reimbursement. Now, we are being charged by our past credit card terminal provider for the cancellation when we were told by the APEX Merchant Group that they would pay off Wells Fargo (whom we were under contract for the credit card terminal) 

We were told two different stories, one over the phone which we believed would work with us to switch over to their services from Wells Fargo, as compared to the employee that stopped by and provided us with a completely different sceario then what was originally told.
