APOBOX.COM - APOBOX receives but never delivers! Bancroft Iowa

I'm a civilian contractor currently working in Baghdad, Iraq. I ordered some books and some shirts on amazon.com. After finding out that I couldn't have my books and t-shirts delivered at my location, I decided to use a mail forwarding company advertised in the military news papers out here. After waiting for an entire month, I emailed them but to no avail. One other thing, each item is seperately charged to your credit card. I'm going through the legal route and will not give up on these guys preying on those that aren't home to do something about what they're losing. I could image what some of the young military folks are going through with these guys. If anyone else has experienced anything like this, I'll forward all information the Martin County Police Department and District Court is aware of.

I'm serving in Afghanistan. apobox.com did send my winter coat in 8 days. BUT. Another package a Galaxy S3 never made it. I recived an email from apobox.com and they said it was sent to the usps.on day 17 i called the international usps number and the tracking number was not in the system and it never was. So i called apobox and everytime i call it goes straight to voice mail.So glen from apobox.com....I hope you get sued! thanks for taking great care of us here in Afghanistan. oh yes and if my phone dosnt arrive by my R&R in Feb i'll be seeing you for a full refund!!!!

We understand that it is frustrating when a package does not arrive on time. APO Box provides a remailing service for deployed U.S. military and is owned and managed by former U.S. Military and ship thousands of packages a week to deployed US military.

We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) for all outgoing mail. Once our warehouse receives your package we ship your package (normally same day or under 24 hours) via the USPS. All packages we send have a USPS tracking number. All customers are sent an email with the inbound and outbound USPS tracking number for your shipment. You can also log onto your APO Box account to review the USPS tracking number.

After your package is shipped, the US Postal Service is in control of your package along with the Military Postal Service (MPSA) and will deliver it to your overseas military base.

We have no control over the speed at which the United States Post Office delivers packages to your overseas military address (normally 10-14 days). If a package is not received within 45 days (per USPS regulation), you can file a claim with us for the amount you insured your package.

To file a lost package claim with us or with the USPS, please contact us by submitting a trouble ticket at http://www.apobox.com/help , please provide your APO ID, package ID and your email address on file, or you can send an email direct to the MPSA military postmaster requesting status of your lost package:

Please include the following details in your e-mail to MPSA:

1. Your Contact phone number
2. E-mail address
3. Rank, first and last name
4. Mailing address
5. Return address
6. Any insured, certified, registered or confirmation number (if applicable)
7. Date of mailing
8. Type of container used for mailing
9. A detailed description of the container contents
10. Any additional information that could be used to help identify your item such as distinctive marking.

Once the information is received, MPSA will contact the service member to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient
