Well let's see. I bought a 1995 Oldsmobile Picked it up Saturday the 31st of July 2004. Drove it 1 mile and went in to change went out car would not start.

Well this upset me. Called the dealer he informed me that there was nothing he could do until Monday. So i would just have to be stranded.

Well come Sunday to say i was mad is a mild understatement. So, i called the last owner and spoke with her for about 30 minutes. Come to find out the car had flood damage and was to be sold out for parts by Duncanville Toyota.

They informed her it would not be worth fixing. Well, now it shows up back at APOLLO motors. And, for a price that a car of this style and year would be top retail. If it was in good shape.

Well this got me more than angry. So, come Monday i got the car to start and took it to a garage in Carrollton to have them go over it with a fine tooth comb.

Here comes the fun part...
It needs a timing belt replaced. $1500.00
It need the A/C unit replaced at the tune of $1200.00
The brakes are below safety standards.
Electical systems is shot. To find all of the electrical problems $65.00 an hour to locate not counting the repair. Did not get this done.

The battery is getting a drain at a good speed.
Which this drain has now killed the battery and needs a new one.

The dealership had his garage install a HOUSE breaker 60 amp as a kill switch. HMMM

Cannot drive it over a mile without the car shuting it's self down because it is over heating. The list goes on.
But, as for this much i believe you get the point.

Also, would not right now pass state inspection.

If you want and or need to buy a new or used car....

DO NOT BUY FROM APOLLO MOTORS

After this dealership found out what was going on and how i handled it. Also, the contacts i had, he refunded my deposit and took the car back. He also did have it looked at by a garage here before i bought it and i found out later that he and this garage were in business together. Being new here does not make it to easy to find out whom you can trust. Also, could not find out the last owner until i got a hold of the title. Thanks for you help

Sorry to hear about your problems. Not much to say other than you should have taken the car to the garage in Carrolton BEFORE you bought the car. Should have spoken to the the last owner BEFORE you bought the car. Enough said.
