I saw an classified advertisement on Craigslist for a Bobtail Driver to transport brand new trucks from the NaviStar Manufacturing Plant.  I was contacted on April 2, 2013 by a man name Greg Terranova. I submitted an online application and uploaded pertinent documents required for employment. At the time this company was doing business as Apollo Truck Transfer Company, LLC.  Greg Terranova overnighted me the company's driver transporting package, and he arranged for me to carpool with another new hire from the Birmingham area on Monday of the upcoming week.  Greg Terranova had arranged for the other driver and I to pick-up Republic Environmental Waste Trucks from Heil Manufacturing Plant in Fort Payne, AL.  The other driver and I discussed the change in account quietly among each other.  We were new and we didn't know why we were to pick-up the trucks from Heil.  But, we did because the both of us were going through financial hardship and we needed to earn the .99 pay per mile to deliver the trucks across country.  The other driver I will call him Robert transported his truck and he called enroute to tell me he had injured his back because the trucks are not equipped wit air-ride. He was to return to Heil and pick-up a second truck, but he decided he wasn't going to risk a more severe injury transporting trucks for Apollo and Heil.  I had set a major goal to earn the money to pay off an income tax lien.  The income tax lien is stagnating me and keeping me from making a purchase of a semi-tractor truck.  I was experiencing the back pain that Robert had endured, but I had to endure driving for Apollo to accomplish and complete set goals.

I continued to drive for Apollo for another week and a half when I encountered another driver named David.  David was also working the Heil account.  David informed me that Apollo could not keep drivers because they will either not pay drivers or will not pay drivers the actual amount the driver did earn for their particular transport.  I recalled an employee named Bob at Heil stated this as well. Yet, I continue to drive until I had a back injury on I-65 North near the Uniontown Exit en route to Indianapolis, IN. The Republic Truck I was driving ran across a major pot hole, rough patch of road and the truck fail apart. I bounced up out my seat and came back down extremely hard in my seat.  I had injured my back.  I had David to get me a taxicab and I took the money I had in my purse and went home. I went home and I went to Baptist Princeton Emergency Room.  The ER doctor prescribed me two pain killers. For the next month, I went  to a chiropractor.  The chiropractor had me to soak in muscle relaxer bath. I had to wear a back support brace and sleep on a heating pad.  ####

Today is October 30th, 2013.  I still have not gotten paid for Apollo Transfer LLC aka Apollo Truck Transfer Company LLC aka Apollo Logistics LLC . . . . neither have the Apollo's 3PL Partners UPS Logistics out of Louisville, KY or Heil Manufacturing Plant compensated me for the BOLs and TransFlo BOLs submitted.  I have submitted these documents numerous times, and I have contacted   Greg Terranova, Casey Brown, and Rick Wilkins. To no prevail, I have not receive compensation for my work nor my on-the-job injury.  My case is not a workman compensation case because working for Apollo constitute independent contracting. I also learned I could not file a civil claim in the Civil Claims Court in Birmingham, AL.  I would have to go all the way to Tempe, AZ to file my claim. I would have to go to Fort Payne, AL to file a claim against Heil Manufacturing. And, I would have to go to Louisville, KY to file a claim against UPS Logistics.    I share my personal experience with prospective drivers and prospective customers considering doing business with Apollo Transfer LLC because you need to know the company is not an ethical business.  In simple terms, the entire team from the founding CEO to the brokers and dispatchers . . . . the people working at Apollo Transfer LLC are all thieves and crooks. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH APOLLO TRANSFER LLC!!!

Like so many others, I responded to their add on CL. I spoke to Aimee and she offered me a position that sounded too good to be true, well you know the old saying. I DID NOT fill out the application {whew}, if they had my personal and employment info, well who knows what they would have done with it. I checked this site along with PISSED CUSTOMER. I greatly appreciate all of the honest nightmare experiences and detailed complaints. They saved me from making a huge costly mistake. Even though I didn't go to "work" for them, I hope they do not sucker anyone else in with their deceptive practices.

My name is,Harry Klump, and I have some inside information for you in regards to Apollo Transfer. Please email me and I will give you my number and Attorney's number working on bringing Apollo down. I have been ripped off in tune of $186,000.00. I know the workings on the company. I have proved that all supposed IC's of Apollo are actually employees. Also you pay into Apollo via the insurance and they have to cover any workers comp cases. Trust me. Someone is fighting right now in PA about workers comp. You do not have to go to Tempe,Arizona for filing anything. This is,Albert A Terranova, way of f**king you over because he pays everyone off. Why you think his son Greg runs Human Resources? This case against Apollo is trying to go Nationwide with several other former drivers. Pushing for Calss Action. Contact (((redacted)))
