apple adjusters inc. workers comp carrier another workers comp SCREW JOB! 3 months since injury and still no compensation! baton rouge, Louisiana
i was injured on the job feb. 22nd. i hurt my neck and left shoulder.
my employer sent me to their company doc and she took x-rays.
she said everything looked fine and i should return to work so i did.
but the pain got worse so i went see my doc.
she took x-rays and told me that the company doc lied about my injury.
so she sent me to take an MRI.
the MRI showed that i had disc damage and possibly nerve damage in shoulder.
keep in mind that this happened in feb. and they havnt sent me a penny yet!
the doc. and specialist put me temporarily disabled and ordered some physical therapy for me.
but APPLE ADJUSTERS INC. still wont pay for any thing!
infact, my employer (PERFORMANCE CONTRACTORS INC.) tried to sweep this whole incident under the rug by laying me off and not reporting the injury to the refinery where it happened.
but i took the liberty to tell them my self.
its ashamed that they would treat me like this because i worked for this company since 1991 and this is the thanks i get?
i have 0 income and i have to feed my kids MRE's left over from gustav because i cant afford to get groceries!!!
if APPLE ADJUSTERS would do what they are supposed to do,then i wouldnt be broke and deppresed like this.
the pain is 1 thing,but to have no money is another.
someone ought to get aff they're asses in congress and put workers comp back like it was before mike foster came along and took the rights away from the worker!!!
