Apple Failed to honor warrantee Houston Texas
Failed to honor warrantee Through Apple advisor I set up a replacement for the battery in my iPhone 6 Plus. They sent me the email the battery was in went to the Apple store in Highland Village Houston Texas to have it replaced. They took the phone to the back open and it put it closed it brought it back to me and informed me that they would not replace the battery because it had a replacement battery. I informed them that when I set the appointment up I had told the advisor that I had replaced the battery earlier when Apple didn’t have any. Called Apple later and was informed that installing a third-party battery void any warranty. The rip off part is all Apple wanted to get was good publicity with their $29 replacement battery. They never had an intention of replacing all the batteries that were out there

When I replace the battery previously Apple did not have any and could not tell me when they could get any. That is why I put a different battery in it. Also I had made it clear to the Apple person I was talking to when they set up the replacement that it had a replacement battery in it.

I'm sorry to say that you did breach the contract with them. You did replace the battery using someone else who was not Apple. If you were to use Apple in the first place and paid $79, you could have had $50 refund. In your case, it is not a rip off.
