Complaint Review: Apple Square Apartments

This company is BAD NEWS. they got themselves new landlords and let me tell you its worse than what you can even imagine living here. the man that is acting as landlord works for his son and is extremely rude and verbally abusive to the tenants in the building.

the man keeps asking me if im leaving but i cant because i paid upfront in order to get a better discount from them as i am a student at the university and can only afford so much money. he never returns phone calls and once he recognizes your phone number he doesnt answer or hangs up on you when you are talking to him.

he shuts the door in your face also when trying to discuss something with him. he does not invite you into the office to discuss your issues. I had to call the atty. general and scream that I had done so just to get a refridgerator that works and heat that works in the winter.

I had a refridgerator from sometime around the 1940's that didnt even keep the eggs or meat cool. If I hadnt screamed that I had called the atty general, he would not have done anything about it. I wish I had the money to sue this man for the lies he told me to get into the apt. in the first place.

he said this neighborhood was safe and that nothing bad happens around here. i have been ran into by bloody people both with stab wounds trying to run out of the apartment as the cops were pulling up, then two mornings later there were bloody handprints on the door. how can you tell me that this is a safe place?????

he also said if i had any problems to write maintenance requests and send them in to the office and they would be taken care of. so when i started noticing the problems like no hot water or the heater not working when it was very cold outside, he started treating me very poorly.

i have talked to other people in the building and we are all in agreement that HE IS A BAD MANAGER and does DIRTY BUSINESS! he should be slammed with fees and if only the city knew about these apartments.. he would be shut down for sure. I am in the process of searching out my options for what legal action I could possibly take out against this company.
