Appleway Automotive rip-off! Rude cheats! Broken promises! Spokane Washington
This report starts back in December/January when I wrecked my Durango on some black ice. I needed a car so started shopping around. We had a friend who worked at Appleway in Spokane. We talked many times over the phone and I gave him all my information. We picked out the car, a Audi, and I went over there and picked it up.
We were there forever. The salesman knew nothing and couldn't tell me anything about the car. Finally we went to sign the papers. Appleway is an auto mall so they have all different buildings. They said we had to go to the Audi building, so we did. We sat there forever and finally they told us they were too busy and sent us to the Subaru building. The man there knew nothing and had me sign all the papers.
I had the car for 4 weeks or so when they called me and said that the financing didn't go through. I was really unhappy. Then they tried to put me in a new Chevy Cavalier. There was no way I was going from an Audi to a Cavalier. So I went and got my own car and returned their's. I was not too pleasant to them.
In the first part of August we went to Spokane for a trip and so I stopped by to see my friend there. Well, we started looking at cars and I found this beautiful Nissan. They did the numbers and said "Yes this will work." And I said "Are you sure because I don't want to be jerked around again." They assured me even saying they were 100% sure.
Well, a week after they call me and say it won't work again. I was really angry this time. I got the Manager on the phone and told him how stupid this was and his comment was "We don't make people's credit, they do it themselves." I was so worked up. How can a car dealership do this to people? It is rude and deceitful. As long as I live I will never shop there again.

First of all Appleway is not an auto mall. AutoRow is an auto mall. Appleway just sell many different types of cars and they only have one building for their financing department. Second: Why the heck did you leave your vehicle there if you were having problems the first time. And then why did you try to purchase another vehicle from them again. Just so everyone else knows on AutoRow there are 15 different major car dealerships and 24 smaller ones taking up six straight miles. Get help Mark, and don't go back again.
With regards to your vehicle, they are not responsible for gas, if the car smelled bad clean it, and take a house to the outside. I have driven from Spokane to Wenatchee (it is not 2.5hrs it is more like 1.5)and it is a dirty strech of road. My car got filthy too so I washed it. No big deal. I wish you luck. Next time go soemwhere else. Spokane doesn't need people like you.

They Return My Car

They brought me my car back and I handed over the keys. He left and I took a close look at my car. It had mud all over the sides. I had tried to do this to the car before and found it very difficult. They must have had it off road somewhere. Got in and noticed a raunchy smell. It smelled like the man had shut off the AC and rolled up the windows the whole way here (2.5 hours) and must have sweated the whole way. The gas tank was nearly empty. They had taken all the headrests out and thrown them in the back. The whole car was in shambles and really smells awful. I have never seen my car ever look that bad. They must have really beat it up between when I left and now. That really shows how they treat all there cars there. If you value the car condition your are getting, do not go there.
