I bought a full size stackable washer and dryer from Appliance center that came with a one year warranty on 08/26/2008 and have had nothing but problems with both the unit and the company.  the first issue I had came a few months after i bought it, when the dryer motor went up and needed replaced.  I had to bring the unit back to them, even though I paid for delivery.  they kept the unit for over 2 months, and I had to have my lawyer call them to get it back.  I finally was able to get it back and it worked for the next 6 months before the next issue happened.  The next thing to happen was that the transmission barrings were faulty causing the washer to burn through several V-belts costing me $20 per pop.  I again had to bring my unit into them.  I was told that they would fix it but I would have to pay for labor, but the parts were covered under my warranty.  The Appliance center STILL has my unit and it has been 5 months.  I have been renting a unit for the time being and that is costing me $30 per month.  I have contacted the Appliance center every other week for the last 5 months, and everytime I talk to them, I hear the same run around....we are working on it.  The only way I am going to get my unit back is to take them to court, which I plan on doing.  PLEASE do not buy anything from this place, unless you like getting ripped off.
