Appliance Direct, Scratch And Dent World ripoff scam changed price at time of purchase Fort Myers Florida
Was very excited to find the appliance I needed at a discounted price. Told the sales man I would be back the next day with a check.
Went back to purchase the appliance and the sticker price increased over $100.00!! Asked what happened, and he said, that was the sales price. Spoke to Manager, and was told, that I should have purchased it that day.
I was NEVER told that is was a special sale for the day and that the price would go up. The Sales Guy EVEN admitted that he never told me that.
They offered to give me a 5% discount on the higher price, (big deal!) I declined since it was still way higher than the original sticker and quoted price.
The new price is not discounted as they advertise! Very poor business practice! Would never buy from, and will definitely not recommend!
