Appliance Exchange Sold me broken washer, and not willing to fix it despite 1 year warranty! Santa Ana, California
Bought stackable GE washer and dryer for $500 in mid June 2012 and it turned out to be faulty from the very beginning. Squeaking and clunking noises during the wash cycle, and it's getting worse. I called for repairman, as they offer free one year warranty on all parts and labor. He was here three times so far and didn't fix anything! One time he even
tried to sneak out without letting me know that he's done, or showing what he supposedly did. Also, he is legally obliged to leave a documentation of what he works on every time he comes over, but that never happened.
I called Appliance Exchage again yesterday, and found out they only have that one guy doing all the repairs, so they're
sending him again, fourth time! The average wait time is about a week, since he is always booked, no wonder why....
Don't be fooled by one year warranty they offer, it's worth as much as their repairman - nothing.
They send over an unqualified man who's not willing to do the work, nor order the right replacement parts.
As a result, I'm stuck with a broken washer, as all their sales are final!
