appstar financial charged for services not rendered, hung up on me San Diego, California

Appstar had a very nice sales pitch about being able to save me money. I paid the $84.00 application fee (which was discounted from $149.00). Days went by with no response from the company. I had to call my rep who said she would look  into it. This was in March.
Apparently there was a problem with compatability with my software. they were givin my contact for my soft ware and I know they contacted him. I have heard nothing since.
Now I see service charges of $34.95 a month and an annual fee of $95.00 charged to my bank account.
I called my rep(who no longer works for appstar(they dont deserve to be capitalized)who said she would call her boss here. Two days no response so I called customer service.
They said I had signed a contract in March so the fees applied since then. I said your software is not compatable with mine so I dont need  your services. Their response was "we dont have a record of that I will transfer you to someone who can help,  our tech support people. The phone clicked twice and then I heard "the party you want does not subscribe to this service" and the line  disconnected.
That pretty much to me sums up appstar as a company.
