APX Alarm Will not correct billing issues - going on 8 months of monthly calling - want out! Provo Utah

Like everyone else that has filed a report I have had issues with this company. Pretty much everything that's happened to you has happened to me. With the exception of my billing issue.

I signed a contract for $33.99. From day one, my credit card was automatically billed $39.99. I called month after month to be told it was a computer glitch and I could be assured it would be fixed the following month. I signed my contract in 4/07. Come July and August I was billed the correct amount. September arrives and sure enough - $39.99! I call and call and call and get nothing but the run around. I ask to speak to supervisors only to discover they are in a perpetual "meeting". I am promised said supervisors would call me back. I get a call from a regular rep making the same excuses and empty promises. This has been going on for 8 months. 8 MONTHS!!! I make another call just the other day only to find out that my account has been sold to SAI and they cannot even talk to me about my account anymore. Why the heck do I have a sign in my front yard that says "APX" when they have nothing to do with my account anymore?! I feel this is a breach of contract (the over billing - I was aware of the possibility of the sale of my account). I want released from my account with no penalty. I have filed compaints with the BBB for both APX and SAI. I've also filed a compaint with my Attorney General. And to think this company is ran by LDS men. (I am LDS myself.) How do they sleep at night?
