I purchased a beach ball. The sealed package stated it was 20" in diameter and had a large picture of beautiful.

When I got home opened the package and blew up the ball. I howled with laughter when I saw that the ball was only 12" in diameter, had deep wrinkles along all the seams, was hexagonal in shape rather than round, and to top it off was slightly egg shaped.

It is the perfect scam since it would cost more in gas to return it than the thing is worth. This goes way beyond a quality control issue. Yes, I phoned the company hoping there was some kind of explanation but no such luck. When I said that this was the most blatant case of product misrepresentation I have ever seen and that I should report them, they hung up on me.

I'm embarrassed to take the ball on my winter vacation. But then again, it could be a good conversation piece.

What is most disturbing is that I purchased this product from "Canadian Tire", a large retail chain store. Canadian Tire purchasing please take note.

Note: The company has many brand names. If must buy their products then open the package and inspect them before leaving the store.
