Aquakleen Products sold me their products for an enormous and unfair amount of money compared with other similar products Elgin Illinois
on october 10 2006 I made a real big mistake buying some products from aquakleen I signed a contract before checking prices and this company reputation these products are; a water softener, a water treatment system and a reverse osmosis water filtering I have to pay for these products $4890.00. I went to check for prices to different department stores like Sears, Sam's Club, Lowes, Menards, Home Depot and Consumer Reports and these are the prices they have water softener $200.00 to $500.00 water treatment systems $300.00 to $900.00 and reverse osmosis systems $150.00 to $350.00 and all these products are of much better quality according to consumer reports I tried to compare these prices with aquakleen prices but Consumer Reports and google don't know any thing about aquakleen as you can see the difference between these prices and aquakleen prices is enormous it is a real rip-off it is a theft this company is targeting mainly on hispanic people that don't know what to do in a case like this if nobody stops these people they are going to continue ripping-off many consumers

This letter is a rebuttal to the Rip-Off Report of Armando of Rochelle Illinois dated 12/23/2006
Armando purchased a water treatment system for his home for $4,890.00 and signed a financing agreement for that amount plus interest. Our system is comprised of a whole house water refiner that has 5 separate stages, that 1; refines the water (utilizing technology by N.A.S.A.), 2; softens the water, 3; Neutralizes the water, 4;- Filters the water, 5;- Clarifies the water. Our control valve features the latest technology available and is certified by the National Water Quality Association.
Included with his purchase was a 5 stage drinking water system to purify his drinking water. This system includes a dedicated faucet to provide up to 35 gallons per day of purified water. This unit is tested and certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (N.S.F.).
His purchase price included tax and installation charges for both systems as well as a five year supply of all his cleaning products, including bar soap, laundry soap, shampoo, liquid body soap, sink soap, all purpose cleaner and window cleaner with estimated savings of up to $4,200.00 if used as directed. In addition he received a 22 piece set of waterless cookware with a retail price of $2,290.00 and also, a one month rebate.
Armando of Rochelle's Comparison of our system to those of Sears, Sam's club, Lowe's are ludicrous. There is no comparison. Aquakleen takes enormous pride in our equipment, installation, service, as well as customer satisfaction. We have a company policy of resolving any and all customer issues and complaints. In the case of Armando of Rochelle we removed our equipment and paid off his contract even though we were under no obligation to do so.
We believe this entire issue was nothing more than customer remorse and it could of been resolved in a civilized manner had we been made aware of his displeasure with our company and products.
