Complaint Review: Aquasafe Systems Canada

 I purchased the 5-stage portable 100 GPD reverse osmosis/deionizing water filter on June 4th 2016 and the charge of $108.60 was immediately sent from my PayPal account. At the time I purchased it, it said the expected release date was June 15th - in fact, it still says that: aquasafecanada.com/products/5-stage-portable-100-gpd-ro-di-aquarium-water-filtration-system.html Weeks went by, and I sent several emails to the company asking when I can expect my order to ship. On or around August 5th somebody responded to my inquiry explaining that their order was messed up and the item I purchased should be shipped in a couple weeks. So I waited. A few more weeks went by, and I found the item I purchased at Amazon, for about the same price; so I purchased it and received it. I sent an email to the support email address asking for a refund on September 3rd, and it is now November 12th and still have not heard back from anyone. In the past 2+ months I have sent 6 emails, contacted them through Facebook, and called and left a message at the 800 number. I never received anything that I Purchased, so I would like my money returned to my Paypal account. I am under the impression that this whole company is a scam, and they never intended on completing my order.
