Complaint Review: Aquatic Pools

This pool builder promised to build a pool that we had contracted with him for. We supplied a picture of what we wanted and the result did not come close to the pool in the picture. We had a consultant take a look at the pool and the job site. The consultant has been in the business for over 45 years. This company abandoned the project and the jobsite is a mess. One of the indications of sloppy workmanship is a sloppy jobsite and this location is in total disarray. The consultant had pointed out many defects within the shell of the pool and the carelessness of this builder. The builder went over the property line per Hillsborough County's law.

We supplied him with the survey that was done by the builder of this community. the builder argued that he did not go over the property line. He damaged my neighbors sprinkler system, which we had to repair. Hi9s argument was that we did not give him enough access to do the job properly. We wanted a spa with our pool and we got nothing short of a large utility sink, I am 4 ft and 11 inches and I couldn't sit in it comfortably. It has now been almost a year and we are still looking at this monstrosity, we are now looking at any other option we may have.
