ARAPAKOS Fish Tavern located in Nafplion, Greece operated by G. HLIOPOYLOS, AFM 099833686 is pulling a scam on foreign customers who have the misfortune of dining in this establishment. The scam is that any customers paying cash and then leaving before getting change are chased after once they leave the restaurant by a waiter claiming to have been "short changed". In my particular case, I left 3 fifty euro bills and the waiter came out claiming one bill was a 10 euro.
Do not waste you time in a place like this. There are far better places to eat in this town that have trustworthy management and waitstaff. Always count your money out to the waiter, i.e., "Here's 150eu," or charge it to a card.
