Complaint Review: Arasys Perfector LLC Dr. Xanya Sofra Weiss Garth Gunderson

I'm not saying if I am or ever have been an employee or not. My intent here is to remain anonymous as I am familiar with Xanya Weiss' and her staff's unstable personalities. I know that she and her staff have no trouble lying or under-delivering and trying to just weasel out of it. I also know that they have an employee whose main job is basically to be a pit bull throwing around threats and making hard sells but I am not willing to mention his/her name on a bulletin board unless I have to. I am willing to say that I've used the products and they are worthless. They are very nice looking but cheaply built and they are really expensive! They actually sell a product that retails for over $64,000! That indicates fraud to me. Any company run like this with a product at that price is a scam. This is one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever seen. They go through employees like toilet paper and I can see why. Dr. Weiss is very charismatic when she turns on the juice. But ask her technical questions about the product and all you get are vague, really impressive technical sounding explanations to the lay person that simply would not get past an electrical engineer or biologist. This will always be the case no matter how much she studies up because the technology in these machines is nothing special at all and will never produce the miracles they promise. And they do promise miracles. I really really doubt she has had much time in a research lab. Arasys and Ion Magnum and whatever other items they are selling are super expensive bunk being hocked by used car con-artists. I don't doubt that this company has a lot of disgruntled employees/ex-employees and I can see why and I would pay attention to their accusations.

I agree that not everything you read on these forums would be true - but some just might be. I would be cautious with this company. I personally think even if someone goes through the trouble to make up all these false claims about the company - the company must have done something really wrong to them. There are bad things said about companies all the time, but it's very rare to see such personal attacks over a company. If I had a choice, I would not deal with them.

I am doing research for a friend who is physician looking into using the Arasys products, and followed the link that Susan posted in her comment stating that Dr. Weiss was arrested at some point. I followed the link and found that the only mention of Dr. Weiss was that the plaintiff had gone to her for professional services. Dr. Weiss was NOT the plaintiff, nor was she arrested. It seems that many of you in this industry just like to bash each other by posting potentially false reports. As a researcher trying to help my friend ensure that she is making the best decision for her medispa practice, I am finding it rather difficult to trust what ANYONE on this site has to say.

Just my two cents. Keep it honest for those of us not "in the know."

Just a few notes for you. First of all, like Susan, you represent that you are knowledgeable about the skills and the abilities of the technical staff involved with Arasys Perfector in the US and the UK. Saying that A-1 Engineering has better qualified engineering staff (more brilliant I think is the term you used) is more than a little presumptious on your part. Like Susan, you do not know the Arasys Perfector staff in the US or the UK and so are not qualified to be judging anyone on their technical skills and capability. My guess is that you do not have a technical background either but I will admit that I could be wrong on that since you, like Susan, present yourself anonymously.

Thank you Susan (if that is your real name) for proving just how disreputable people such as yourself are when posting here anonymously. It simply demonstrates how you can post anything you want to say with total disregard for the truth and can feel safe that there would be no reprecussions. In fact, you and I have never met, you know nothing about me, and yet you attempt to imply in your little blog here that you do. You also know nothing of my background as it relates to medical devices and medical device design, research, manufacturing, quality assurance and regulatory affairs nor do you have any technical training, experience or background in them yourself as we can see from your very un-informed statements. You simply targeted what was written earlier about my background since you couldn't come up with anything original to say (because you don't in fact know me) in an effort to make it appear that you are some kind of an "authority" on the subject of me and to be automatically believed. Fortunately, the customers that I have talked to that have read this stuff are straight forward, knowledgeable, business people that make informed decisions. Yes, these very same customers have purchased after reading what you have written on here since they are capable of coming to their own conclusions based upon fact, not emotion and they are smarter than you give them credit for being.

I just had to laugh this morning at your posting (I do enjoy good fiction) as it gave everyone the opportunity to see just how you and a few others play the game on here. I got a real chuckle out of the part about being a puppet of Dr. Weiss, doing anything she says. Seems we heard that same statement in an earlier post. Funny how the same indentical statement gets surfaced under a different user name. Anyway, I think that Dr. Weiss would disagree sharply with you on my being a puppet since I am perfectly comfortable with challenging her (and have) if necessary on business issues. You see, I have no emotional attachment to all of the stuff that has been bantered about here, no history with these personal vendetta's that some people have or seem to have, and as a result I am free to make the right decisions business decisions.

I only care about one thing and that is the success of our customer base and, therefore, the success of our company. You will find me professional at all times if we ever do get to know each other. Somehow I doubt that we will unfortunately. That said, you can now post whatever garbage response to this you would like as I really don't care if you do that or not and what you might say. Xanya Weiss holds a PhD from a school in NYC. She is a Psychologist. She knows very little about microcurrent technology. The manual proves that and so does the lousy unorganized training her and her Arasys company provides.

The new GM is Larry Davidson who replaced Angela Wood - who was fed up with Xanya Weiss. Larry is only working since about 2 -3 months ago. He answers to only what Xanya tells him to do - like a puppet.

His background is irrelevant to the technology in the Arasys and Perfector machines. Don't be fooled.

Don't be fooled by that Arasys Perfector when they say they are a quality company with quality equipment - that is a lie. Many Arasys and Perfector owners will attest they are difficult to work with, unorganized and make false promises. The machines are old technology.

Don't be fooled when Xanya Weiss is all nice, nice to you. She is ruthless and can be emotionally unstable. The Engineers at A-1 are far more brilliant than the technically qualified staff at Arasys Perfector. Now the technology is good however the Arasys uses electronic circuits that is over 35 years old and the engineers at A-1 explained to me how they made it better. Well let me tell you I have experienced it first hand and have seen that the machines at A-1 perform 300% better than the Arasys or Perfector and is 1000% better quality and for LESS!. To correct the first part of the statement above, Dr. Weiss holds a PhD from a long standing University founded in 1919 by Professors from Columbia University and her extensive background is described elsewhere. However, this is to correct the impression given above that Arasys Perfector LLC does not have any other technical staff. The General Manager for the company holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University, and a Post Master's Certificate in International Business from Seattle University. His background is nearly 20 years in the medical device industry working on and with devices from Class I to Class III Critical (Life Sustaining and Life Supporting).

His experience includes Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs from the working engineer level up to and including senior management level for such companies as Physio Control Corporation (heart monitors and defibrillators, now part of Medtronic), Advanced Technology Laboratories (ultrasound imaging/doppler, now part of Phillips Medical). SiMed Corporation (pulse oximetry), and Heart Technology (high speed drill for removing plaque from arteries, now part of Boston Scientific). He has also been a consultant for several other medical device companies in a variety of capacities.

The research information and journal articles for the science and technology behind the development of Arasys, Perfector and Ion Magnum is readily available and has been for quite some time. Arasys Perfector LLC provides references right in the back of their manual to over 200 sources that are available for anyone to read if they so choose. If you would like a copy of the reference list, it can be easily obtained from the corporate office or from anyone that owns a machine by simply looking in the back of their manual.

All this is effectively written by a former employee, but to be more exact by an employee FIRED for PROFESSIONAL mistake ! With negative consequences over other employees but also over some customers .

The technology is effective and not magic !?! At least all profesionnals customers as Doctors, Aestethicians, Surgeons, etc ... Operating those devices seem to think that way ...

Its simply not respectful for all the people working for the company and all Professionals customers to alegate in such a way and write with such anger a personal opinion ...

When somebody is fired from a company, most of the time there is reason for that ! One of them can also be to write so many reports under different names as "jonathan", but there has not been anybody with that name working for Arasys Perfector Company !?!

It really sad that the actions of a few would try to attempt to bring down the integrity of the product....I speak for many...these technologies have truly been life transforming for us...unfortunately, not for all....but I think its horrible that an ex-employee, who clearly has personal issues, would spend this time to trash something that is so valuable for so many people...I think this is personal and feel that it should be handled personally....making false claims about the technology is undeserving to those of us who love our systems....

Lets face it....we all have a choice to either deal with or not deal with a company....furthermore we have a choice to purchase or not purchase from a company....if you are not happy then move on...those of us who have done our homework have made educated decisions and are quite sucessful.....by speaking for the few (cause not everyone is sucessful in life) and you are insulting our intelligence by your statements...I understand that you cant please all of the people all of the time...but there are many of us who are pleased and wish that this personal vendetta would stop interfering with our lives....there are many ways of dealing with things resorting to slander is belittling to both sides....

I will /am in the process of obtaing this particular machine.
Now Ive been an Electronic Enginer for over 31 years.

I will litteraly take this machine an put it through Extensive Testing. True there are machines that you can program to go from ma. to uA I will keep you informed on this matter.
Meanwhile . I have contacted the AMA and they are opening an Investigation.

I have responded to as many of Xanya's posts as possible to prove one main point. If you look at the above "rebuttals" to my original post, Xanya has had a select few individuals loyal to her go on numerous times to this website to try and create the ILLUSION that there are a number of people out there who knew me while working for the company (this is false) and that I was truly some kind of a crazy drug addict using "ice" or methamphetamine, while on the job.

Anyone in my real life (friends, family, professional contacts of both ex and current employees alike) can tell you that this is LAUGHABLE. I do not use illicit drugs, never would, and if I WERE seeing a psychiatrist for anything, it would be illegal for Dr. Weiss to make any mention of that to the public. If she did (which I can now prove that she has), she is liable to lose her license to practice psychology in the state of Hawaii.

I am simply the first honest individual in a long time to come through Arasys Perfector, which in the past has been known as Forever Young LLC, Creative Arts Center, USA Perfector Arasys LLC, and Arasys Perfector Incorporated. There has never been more than a CRAZY GREEK WOMAN with two mail-order PhD's in a lovely little house in residential Hawaii Kai, Oahu.

She used to be out of an apartment building. She just keeps going ON and ON and ON about how other people talking against her are crazy, how SHE is reputable, and how her company is prestigious and ethical. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I am a competent, good person who got tired of making a small piece of the profit this woman reaps in from good people based on her own LIES, and I will NOT be silenced, or intimidated.

Billy, Ex-Employee of Arasys is TELLING THE TRUTH on At Least Three Counts

To whoever is reading this:

I feel compelled to type a rebuttal here because I know on at least three accounts that what this ex-employee of Arasys is stating here is true.

Moreover, not one of the Arasys rebuttals contained here have addressed any of the most important issues mentioned about the business practices of Arasys. They just defame this person. I wanted the issues he mentioned in his post to be addressed in the rebuttals, however, they all failed to do so.

I know from my own experience, he is being truthful about Arasys on at least three accounts and I have strong suspicion he is TELLING THE TRUTH on all the other points about Arasys and the Arasys machine. Plus, again the rebuttals from Arasys are all personal attacks on him and not about the issues, which are about the potentially unethical business practices of Arasys and Dr. Xanya Weiss.

Having done my own research at many Medspa Expos and have spoken to other companies and consumers at these shows over the last year or so, I can tell you three things that the Arasys ex-employee wrote that I know is accurate.

1) You Can Get the Exact Arasys Machine in the UK for $7,000 -- I know of someone who researched Arasys in the UK and the machine is selling for about $7,000 or 3600 pounds over there. Here is the link I also just found, http://www.arasysinchloss.com/index.php?id=7942.

So what this guy is saying makes perfect sense. At the retail price of $38,000, the Arasys is way overpriced!!!

2) Arasys Is Doing Some Fancy Repackaging -- I spoke to someone who is the one of the owners of a company similar to Arasys Perfector and she told me that Arasys is selling old technology and doing some fancy repackaging along with some excellent hyped up marketing. She said the language in their literature/brochures sounds good, but to an engineer and someone who is educated in the field, there is nothing really special about Arasys. BTW, she is not selling me on any machine of hers, she's telling me what her engineers have told her. So again having had some background knowledge, I believe this ex-employee is telling the truth about the Arasys here as well.

3) The Arasys Manual Has Many Errors In It -- As far as the Arasys manual. I have seen the latest manual. I was shocked that Arasys had released it with SO MANY TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS in it. Because I was considering buying the Arasys, I studied almost every page of the Arasys manual and I would say there were errors on almost every page at that time. I remember reading at the end of a page and looking for the rest of the sentence on the top of the next page and it was nowhere to be found. This had me thinking that if there were so many errors in the manual that perhaps Arasys is a careless company -- one that did not pay attention to details enough to take care enough of their customers. So on three counts what this ex-employee is saying I know to be factual about Arasys.

In addition, the Arasys ex-employee makes some excellent points that have not been addressed in any of the rebuttals, by Dr. Xanya Weiss or anyone else.

To me, this says something significant that this Arasys ex-employee, although emotional in his language, might be telling the truth in all his other points, regardless of what any of the Arasys rebuttals say about a drug problem or anything else. What does that have to do with the professionalism and ethics of a company anyway?

Employees, regardless if they are angry, don't just make stuff up out of the blue. In addition, since I know three of his points are true, why would he make up the others and then risk a law suit? It doesn't make sense. He must have had some INSIDE KNOWLEDGE from when he worked at Arasys or with Dr. Xanya Weiss to be saying this stuff.

Moreover, as stated earlier, not one of the Arasys rebuttals have addressed the most important and serious issues mentioned about Arasys' business practices. My guess is there may be a very good reason for that --- NONE OF THESE PEOPLE WERE PRIVY TO THE SAME INSIDE INFORMATION THIS GUY WAS.

Is there a scam going on here by Arasys and/or Dr. Xanya Weiss? I don't know. I do know that these are crucial issues he mentioned that are not addressed by anyone at Arasys, or Xanya Weiss. There aren't just one or two serious issues, there are seven, and in my mind, that is way too many.

They are namely:

1) That the 'research' and 'clinical studies' Arasys claims are fabricated.

2) I know it on good authority that the majority of the Arasys pictures have been photo-shopped.

3) I have heard, on more than one occasion, from dissatisfied customers who have extreme difficulty extracting the kinds of results they see in the photos from the Arasys machines on a regular basis.

4) The Arasys manual is complicated at best -- if not altogether convoluted.

5) There is really nothing that makes these machines any better from other micro-current equipment. Arasys claims that the signal is 'nano' or even 'pico' amperage, but this is really just a simple re-naming of a level of electrical current, which is in the micro range (under 500 micro-amperes, as is all microcurrent equipment these days, after a 1986 study revealed anything over that to actually do harm).

6) If you request research (which Arasys will claim DOES exist), you will be met with a bullshit story about how all the research that has been done as to efficacy and safety of the Arasys machine is proprietary, and reveals secrets about how the machines work.

7) The truth is, there is NOTHING SPECIAL about the inside of the Arasys. It's a regular microcurrent machine that they purchase for as little as $4,000 in the United Kingdom. Then they dress it up with bells and whistles and beautiful 'walking representations' -- which is another word for weeding out the fat and ugly people so all you see is youth and beauty.

I Am Staying Away From Arasys
I was considering buying an Arasys machine however, I am now staying away from Arasys. There is too much controversy between this and the other 5 - 6 other Arasys posts on this Rip-Off Report site. Plus, Arasys and Dr. Xanya Weiss may be scamming people and I'm not willing to take that risk.

Moreover, there are less expensive machines (less than half the price of the Arasys) that do similar things, and after some further investigation, perform even better than Arasys. If anything changes about Arasys or Dr. Xanya Weiss I'll post it here. Enough said.

No matter what you say, Jonathan, you cannot can hurt a prestigious company by making up stories and telling lies because everyone who is dealing with Arasys Perfector, LLC knows you are lying.

I know Jonathan or Billie (his true name) very well, and we all tried to help him with his drug problem. He was at a point of wanting to kill himself when the General Manager gave him a choice between drugs and his job. He called several customers and threatened to kill himself. Dr. Weiss is a psychologist and she was trying to fix him, she felt sorry for him, but she should have never hired him. We were all begging her to fire him because we all felt he was a poisonous snake, but Dr. Weiss was afraid to fire him because he kept saying that Arasys Perfector is his life. He truly loved the company and he tried his best, but the drug problem did not allow him to progress.

He had told everybody how much he loves Dr. Weiss and how much he admired Mr Gunderson-- they were like his parents, because Billie's dad is an alcoholic and his mom abandoned him when he was young. When Dr. Weiss and Garth confronted Billie for his drug problem, Billie first promised to give us drugs, and when he was confronted a week later and was asked to take time off, then he started with the crazy behaviors. I think he is acting like a rejected lover saying all kinds of crazy things and lying non stop.

Dr. Weiss' lawyer advised her to file a lawsuit against him. She has everything she needs to win in court, and if she did Billie would lose his wages for the rest of his life. Dr. Weiss has a heart of gold, she does not want to hurt Billie. So far, he went to the Department of Unemployment and lost, he went to the Department of Labor and the case was dropped, then he started blackmailing Dr. Weiss for $7,000.00 or he would "continue playing" putting more and more reports on the Ripoff site. Dr. Weiss and Garth have Billie's message on their phone. This is extortion! I don't know why someone so crazy is allowed to say bad things about a great company!

Billie has a psychiatrist and is under psychiatric medication, he is, in other words mentally ill. Dr. Weiss feels sorry for him, and I do too, because, in many ways all he wants is his job back, but my Goodness! what a silly way to go about it. By talking against Dr. Weiss and Garth Gunderson who was his idol when he worked for the company. He is obsessed with Dr. Weiss. Garth and Arasys Perfector. I really hope that his psychiatrist increased his meds or something... What Billie is doing is outrageous. This is the truth and out of my heart. Debbie

Billy is a 23yr old who is addicted to drugs and needs rehab immediately. His arrogance blinded him to many mistakes he made at work for others to clean up...thinking he was the top dog and his work being irrefutable. It was always uncomfortable working around and with Billy knowing he was high.

To whom it may concern, to start let me tell you my story of how I was introduced to what I believe are some of the most amazing non-invasive technologies that actually produce results I have ever seen. My name is Susan and I am a consultant for Arasys Perfector and have been in the anti-aging industry for over 4 years and have been exposed to almost every kind of laser, wrinkler remover, filler, skin care product, IPL machine , lipo disolve, cellulite reduction, etc... out there and what my company does yes I said my company that I am the president of does is consult for Medical spas, Day spas and doctors who would either like to join the anti-aging revolution or are already involved in this most exciting industry.

I was at a Grand opening event in Orlando last March assisitng a Medspa client and at their facility in which these technologies were present, and there were no less than 100 demos done that day and every woman had a result on either their face or body. I was nothing less than amazed. How could you remove wrinkles in 15 minutes? Why had I not heard of these technologies? Could it help me who had lost 40 lbs had sagging skin on my neck and had considered a surgical facelift? The answer was yes!!!! In a 45 minute treatment my client had taken 1/2 of my sagging neck away! I was in tears! Not only did I not have to cut my face and risk infection but also risk not looking like me again.(Joan Rivers and Kenny Rogers sound familiar)

I called the company that night and said "I want to represent your equipment I will fly to Hawaii tomorrow"!. I have no intention of representing any one elses equipment nor do I need to. But more importantly this kind of technology could change the businesses for my clients as well. Where can you find a piece of equipment that you could get a result on someone's face or body that can get a result in as little as 15 minutes? I have personally done a demo on someone and taken 10 years off of her facce in 20 minutes. You will not get that with IPL, laser hair removal , cellulite reduction, and these days women don't want their faces burned off , and we just don't want the pain. We just want to look better without anyone knowing we went to get anything done.

This equipment will drive someone's business like nothing I have ever seen in my life. So much that I Have even opened my own business with the equipment. How's that for a testimonial! And if we have an alternative to getting Botox injected into our face would we take it? Of course we would. I was a botox user now I am not. Perfector takes care of that for me. This equipment has changed my life and it will continue to change the lives of many others and the buinesses of others that will take the time to look at it and embrace it. I have taken failing businesses that flourish today because of Arasys and Perfector. Why because it works and their clients are happy and they keep coming back for more. Plain and simple!

However it is often unfortunate that a disgruntled employee that was terminated for unethical practices and illegal wrong doings might stop someone from experieincing what I believe to be the most exciting non-invasive technologies I have ever run across in my career in this industry. It appears there may be another micro current company he may be representing now?

And to the client that has had the equipment for a year and feel they have not had the support they need in California. I am sorry you feel that way. Don't give up on us. William is mentally ill. When he's not suicidal he becomes homocidal. Do not answer the phone if he calls you, he is dangerous. Billy is a crack head...Do not believe anything that he says. Dr Weiss took care of him and sent him to a psychiatrist to try to take care of his mental illness.

Billy was fired from Arasys Perfector, LLC for cause, specifically because of drug usage that made him act in an erratic fashion. He is mentally ill and on medication. He is a dangerous psychopath. If he contacts you, do not talk to him as he likes to stalk people and makes up things about people to blackmail them for money.

I can just tell you from personal experience with Mr. Garth Gunderson that he is a lunatic and he will ripe anyone off in his path and anyone who comes close to him should run very far away. Mr. Gunderson takes advantage of people and anyone who meets him will tell you that he is the best conartist and manipulator. Mr. Gunderson has been fired from many employors for being greedy, lying and falsifying documents. Mr. Gunderson will find people to work with him who are just as corrupt and hold no values as him.

Mr. Gunderson also rips off his own children. Here is, well I won't use the word man, because he is not, an individual who owes over 15,000.00, yes thousand dollars in child support, who is the CEO of a company? Now, that's just for my three children that I had with him, he also owes around the same amount to his other ex-wife for another child. Guess that only happens in America.

Mr. Gunderson has been working there since June or July and the company did not follow new hire procedures and Mr. Gunderson, who is suppose to let the Child Support Agency know where he works, has been trying to covering it up, as he always does. I always find out where he works, he never reports when he gets fired and then rehired at new place of employment. Oh, did I mention he is also working at a timeshare place too but can't take care of his obligations. Well, that should tell you a great deal about his character. I could go on and on but in one word, Beware of him. What I'm saying is all truth and fact, and I can back up everything I'm saying.
