Complaint Review: Arcadia Financial

I've had a loan with Arcadia Financial for 2 years and admit I have been late several times. They were always very cordial with me and I would always pay more then my premium.

My dispute is with paying off this loan, I have called this company 3 times and each time I got a different pay off amount. The first time I called my pay off was $ 7,680.00. The second time I called it was 7,951.29. I finally called the Charlotte office and was told the pay off of $7,680.00 was good untill 4/16/04.

I got my cashiers check and over nighted the check to the Payment mail opening dept. with a short note stating that I needed this payment processed as expeditiously as possible. I also wrote the same for the Title release dept. This was on 4/7/04 it takes them 5 business days to release the title.

I called the Title release dept. today 4/13/04 and was told I still have a balance on my loan and the title would not be released until it has been paid.

Now I have called the Charlotte office again and they informed me that the balance owed was $46.29, I unfortunately lost it and told the woman that was bologna and humg up. I calmed down and called back in 5-10 minutes, and now my balance went to $46.63! I didn't argue, I am overnighting another check so I can get my title released as I have sold this car and the buyers would like a title!

It has cost me $31.00 to get the checks to this company. I am absolutely livid with this whole fiasco. To me this has been nothing but a miscarriage of proper business administration, and an abuse to me the customer.
