Complaint Review: Arcadia

Arcadia Financial ripoff fraudulant billing, stealing money, payments mysteriously disappear all the time, charge late fees for payments that WERE made, ruined our credit outlandish ripoff late fees Carol Stream Illinois .....

Arcadia Financial makes money from robbing the customer. We purchased a car from Mt. Vernon Washington and knew that we had to use special financing. The interest rate was a little high, but we figured that we would pay a little extra and pay it off early. Well, we were always on time, ALwAYs, and paid an extra 50-100 dollars whenever we could.

Our bills came with the normal payments due every month for about 2 years, we noticed that our payoff did not change and thought it to be a little much. Then we went to buy a house. We found out the Arcadia had reported us 4 times. They claimed that we were 90 days late 4 times. Well, I called Arcadia and they claimed that we never made our first payment and that it just kept being later and later and later.

Well, I asked if this was so why did they not put it on our bill that we owed two payments, they said they were not sure why. Well, this was only the begining. We did not have our record of our payment unfortunately after two years, but no d**n good and well that we made our payment, it was our first, how could we forget. So, we ended up paying another payment.

Now this has happened to us over 8 times, and we have proven all of the payments to them with proof and yet they all still are on our credit report. They also charged us interest and late penalties on these payments. We brought our proof to a mortgage company when we bought our house and luckily that was enough proof for them, but our credit is screwed. We paid 16,000.00 for our car over 4 years ago and we still owe 14,998.00. This is robbery!!

Help us, we are honest people who have been robbed and would love to get into a class action lawsuit. If anyone is going to sue let us know, we are mad as hell and cannot take it anymore. During the whole time that I have tried to deal calmly and adult like with this company, they have hung up on me 4 times, hung up on my mother whom they have harassed and my sister in law. (We used them for references unfortunately) By the way, they are calling my mom to try to get her to tell me to call them( I am over 30 years old) This is not fair, do not use this company, please.

I talked to an employee a few weeks back who told me that he has seen loans that have been being paid on time for over 10 years and still owe almost as much as they paid. He said that they are charging us over 10.00 a day interest. How can they do this? We have dreams of owning a bigger house for our 3 kids, we are driving a car that is falling apart and being robbed for it. Arcadia is ruining our whole future, honestly!! Help us!
