I bought a car in February 1997 for $15,280 and was financed through Arcadia Financial. I trusted the salesman, Eric French, because he had sold me a prior vehicle for a great price. I bought a 1996 Dodge Stratus. I was told I had to buy the warranty for $1000.00 because Arcadia required it. So I have been paying on this vehicle for 4 years and still owe $11,000. All of my money has been to interest. I finally stopped paying on the vehicle because every 2 months I have had to make some type of repair.

This vehicle has had 3 transmissions, new head gaskets, air flow sensor, new computer, the windows don't work anymore and a new battery. When I left it in Arizona, it did not run and I was sick of having it around.

I called Arcadia in January 2002 to pick up this junker and they told me in May when they did not come and get it because it would not be worth it to them. I told them I would not make anymore payments and Marc Norling of the collections department told me he would go through my employer to get the money. I told him good luck.

To this day, Marc Norling has not returned my many many phone calls and I have not checked my credit in awhile but I am sure they are still trying to soak me for everything on this vehicle 5 years later.

This company is not one to get involved with and frankly I would love for someone to tell me how I can resolve this since the vehicle is still waiting to be picked up a year later.
